Feeling buried in the chaos today—but instead of shutting down, I asked myself: what would it look like if I did it anyway?
It’s easy to say we can’t do some chore or finish some project or tend to our screaming to-do lists because toddler this or housework that. That’s my current situation, anyway.
But it’s unfair to suggest what we perceive as blocks are actually the problem. Sometimes it’s not the goal you change, but the approach.
So if you’re in the trenches like me today and overwhelmed with decision fatigue or tasks that feel insurmountable, ask yourself this: what would it look like if I did it anyway?
How would you change your approach? What support would you need? What can you delegate? What’s in your control?
You’re not alone. Let’s keep moving. 💪

We lost the patriarch of our family very suddenly last November and the depth of his loss has been unimaginably difficult to process.
I lost my constant—my North Star—and my compass has been spinning ever since he drew his final breath. I have been unsettled in a way I have never felt in my almost 36 years and gripped with emotion so heavy and heartbreaking at times that it has been all I can do to get through my days.
But I am getting through them. And I am coming back to my passions and having to face this new chapter where he’s cheering me on from a different seat now.
I wanted to acknowledge the gap in my posts and say that I am working on new content, but more than anything I want to hold space in this moment, in this place, for anyone experiencing similar grief. We are because they were. 🤍
