Nearly 6 million adults in California started college but never finished their degree, according to Complete College America.
For many, going back to school can feel overwhelming. Work, family and other responsibilities can make a traditional bachelor’s degree hard to fit into everyday life.

Access to affordable on-campus housing allows students to focus on their studies and improve graduation rates. If passed by voters in November, the Veterans and Affordable Housing Bond Act of 2026 (SB 417) would provide $175 million to help construct affordable housing for low-income students across the CSU. 🏘️
We are thankful to Governor Gavin Newsom, Senator Monique Limón, Speaker Robert Rivas, Senator John Laird, Senator Christopher Cabaldon, and Senator Sasha Renée Pérez, and Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel, David Alvarez, Matt Haney, Buffy Wicks and Assemblymember Mike Fong for their leadership and support in ensuring the CSU was included in this important investment: https://www.calstate.edu/csu-system/news/Pages/CSU-Statement-on-Housing-Bond.aspx
