CSU Transfer Success Pathway enters fourth cohort The program, which facilitates transferring from community college to CSU campuses, continues to see increased enrollment.

The CSU employs nearly 28,000 world-class faculty who are essential to student success and the university’s mission of preparing students for future careers.

In addition to longstanding faculty development programs, the CSU has recently introduced new initiatives to support faculty professional growth, career advancement and advanced research.

New CSU Initiatives Invest in Faculty Research, Teaching and Collaboration | CSU The CSU is leveraging faculty expertise to strengthen the university system and create richer, more impactful student learning experiences.

Nearly 6 million adults in California started college but never finished their degree, according to Complete College America.

For many, going back to school can feel overwhelming. Work, family and other responsibilities can make a traditional bachelor’s degree hard to fit into everyday life.

Access to affordable on-campus housing allows students to focus on their studies and improve graduation rates. If passed by voters in November, the Veterans and Affordable Housing Bond Act of 2026 (SB 417) would provide $175 million to help construct affordable housing for low-income students across the CSU. 🏘️
