You know those dark moments you experience throughout your life journey? The pain from haters not valuing your gift and your craft. The pain from opportunity being stripped from you due to mistakes you made. The pain from being laid off after giving years to a job thinking you have job security. The heartache from the loss of a loved one or the end of a relationship.

The emotional bruises we feel can put us in dark spaces. And in those dark times we can choose to either fold and submit to our low self, indulging in substances and people for poisonous pleasure to suppress our pain or we can use that pain as motivation to dig deep into self discovery and pull from our potential that holds value, resilience, talent, gratitude, purpose, commitment, and intelligence to Create Victory.

This Champs Up platform is a representation of using dark moments for Character Elevation. It symbolizes the “heart” and the “will” to Choose Victory over defeat. Victory Mind!!!

Champs Up Go To Work, Champs Up Get Money! 💪🏆

Education: the informal education that I got from the hood, sports, and the music was more attractive than the education I received from school and my household. Sports, music, and hood s**t was the influence that conditioned my mentality.

Exposure: being exposed to sports through watching it on tv and playing it intrigued me. That’s when I discovered I had the talent of an athlete. I gave more of my attention to being an athlete than anything else. Talent got me to the University of Colorado on a full football scholarship. But I was still intrigued by the hood s**t… you know the song “you can take the boy out the hood but you can’t take the hood out the homeboy…”

Environment: every athlete I played with was from the hood and some were affiliated with the gang. Some of my coaches were too. I didn’t see anything wrong with it. That’s how we grew up. It’s the energy of the city. In my young perspective this was life for us.

The elements of environment, exposure, and education created my identity as a youth growing into adulthood (notice I didn’t say manhood. It takes mental elevation, consciousness, and emotional intelligence to grow into manhood). Those same elements created my identity with who I am today as the creator of this champs up platform. The difference of me today prior to my lesser self is that I intentionally seek to put myself in greater environments. I seek the truth. I educate myself with self development programs, podcasts, and books to recondition my mindset. I became a mental shapeshifter and Champs Up is the result.

UNDERWATER MEDIA 💧

Equipment in our production department being upgraded. We now have the ability to film underwater. To tell stories of our experiences under the sea can be just as important. There is no place Champs Up won’t go to INSPIRE 🎥
