To the brands, media and human beings who profit from our insecurities:

F**k You for your s**tty, damaging, one-size-fits-all advertising.
F**k You for not celebrating diversity.

F**k You for the damage you’re causing.
I no longer buy into this s**t, but for years I did so I feel moved to speak about it:

When we reject our bodies because they
do not “fit” with what we are seeing on screens, we reject ourselves.
We detach from our bodies as if they are separate beings to be punished.

These fu***rs are leaving us spending our precious time on this planet worrying about our external appearances when the real truth is:

Our magic lies within.
The problem is in the normalisation of irresponsible advertising, not your body & its journey!! So, firstly, here’s 1million free passes to question things!
Work out who handed you your insecurities, and work on handing them back.
Secondly, take a minute this evening to lay your hands on a part of your body that you have rejected because of unrealistic beauty standards and give it loving. Your body is here for healing, for keeping you alive and thriving, it’s amazing.
Loving yourself as you are is an act of the most simple rebellion. ♥️🌹
