North American Finn Class

Congrats to Rob Coutts for winning the 2026 California Finn Championship with 5 bullets! Robert Kinney came 2nd followed by Brian Ganz in 3rd place. Top Woman category was awarded to Anna Broughton.

5 races were held with the Etchells and J105s. The Finns started after the Etchells and J105’s and had a shorter course. It was fun watching the other classes sail at the same time near the finish and dodging them at times.

2 beautiful days with great SoCal wind conditions. The winds built on Sunday finishing the last race with the Oscar flag.

The next big event in California will be the Pacific Coast Championships which will be held at Coronado Yacht club and will include stories and photos from Phil Ramming and Robert Kinney’s trip to Australia and Poland. Save the dates - September 11-13.
