CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC
The great and gracious, hard nosed lady known as California has enormous beauty and strength.

California is equipped with natural and human resources. She is unbending in her ability to deal with everything thrown at her. Her language is the language of strength and survival even though many of her environments have a delicate nature.

I wrote this song as a tribute to my home…been lucky enough to travel to every corner.

The lyrical part of the song is about the land; the instrumental part is about the sea.

From the mists of southern Oregon to the border of old Mexico,
From Rio Colorado to the wide Pacific shore,
From the coast of Mendocino through San Francisco Bay,
To the majesty of Big Sur down past Monterey.

From the streets of San Diego on up the mission trail
Follow ancient footprints where words of faith prevailed.
From Shasta to the gold fields; Tahoe to Death Valley,
The hills of California are always home to me.

Well, the lonesome mountain pine in the high Sierra range
Cascades down Yosemite to the mighty San Joaquin.
From the mountains to the deserts, from Nevada to the sea,
California Republic is where I want to be.
