Chubby eaters 😏

I fully anticipated most of the fish tonight to come from the dropper tied off the ‘golden stone’ chubby I had tied up. To my surprise they all wanted the dry fly. I eventually ditched the dropper and just enjoyed fishing a dry. Chubby season is here 🫶💯.

Sadly, the river levels are already low and no pending run off for this particular river… could be an ugly summer. Get your fishing in now 🫣👍. Stoneflies should start popping soon and these trout are already wanting some bigger meals. Go natural colors a downsize a little to start. You’ll find fish willing to play.
