Our Craft and Chat small group met Monday evening for a 5th Monday project - creating a decorative serving plate and bowl! The fabric is attached to the back of the glass plate with Mod Podge and is cut after it is attached. Great project, great fellowship, and great fun! Beautiful plates and bowls!

This summer, our Mission and Social Justice Committee is challenging our church to help feed children weekend meals through the Liverpool Chapter of Blessings in a Backpack. Nearly 300 elementary students in the Liverpool Central School District living with food insecurity receive a bag of food with six food items when school is in session. The average cost of $7.00 is per week, per bag. Our goal is to receive food and monetary donations to cover the program for one week - 2,100 items.

Items needed include:
-ready-to-serve soups and canned pasta with pop tops
-tuna pouches
-mac and cheese cups
-instant oatmeal
-juice boxes
-fruit and grain bars
-fruit or pudding cups

The New Line Jazz Band, a group of talented young musicians will be performing a benefit concert - Jazz for a Cause on Sunday, July 26 at 4 pm at LFPC. We will be hosting Skippy’s ice cream truck in the parking lot following the concert.
