There are people who support a mission with words, and then there are people who support it with their time, their hearts, and their actions.

Today we’d like to recognize Kathryn and Garette Matlock for the incredible role they’ve played in the Hornbuckle Foundation since the very beginning. Their financial support has been steady and faithful, but what means just as much is the way Kathryn continues to show up. If you’ve attended one of our events, there’s a good chance you’ve seen her volunteering with a smile, doing whatever needs to be done without ever asking for recognition.

The Hornbuckle Foundation has always been built on people who believe that lives can change. Kathryn and Garette have believed in that long before many others did, and they’ve continued believing through every victory and every challenge we’ve faced.

Your generosity, your servant hearts, and your unwavering encouragement have helped carry this mission farther than you probably realize. We are grateful not only for what you give, but for who you are.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us, for believing in people, and for helping us bring hope to those who need it most. We love you both.

It is with heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Hornbuckle Foundation's 5th Annual Carnival, which was scheduled for tomorrow, due to the forecasted high winds.

The safety of our guests, volunteers, vendors, and staff is our top priority. We know many of you were looking forward to this event, and we are just as disappointed.

At this time, we do not have a new date, but we are working on rescheduling and will share an update as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, support, and patience. We can't wait to celebrate with our community when it is safe to do so.
