Bugboy Marvs
Alright don’t judge me too hard 😅 but feel free to drop tips on what I can improve. I’m still learning how to use the OM-1 and the 90mm M.Zuiko macro lens. For this shot, I tried the in-camera focus stacking (15 frames), shot in manual mode, and did some edits in Adobe Lightroom.
It’s been an anxiety-filled day, so when I got home from work, I picked up my camera—still figuring things out—but it’s what helps me relax. And somehow, right when I needed it, there was a sleeping bumblebee in our backyard. God’s perfect timing.
Be kind—I’m still learning 🙏
A female Brown Peacock butterfly (Anartia amathea) also known as scarlet peacock or red peacock butterfly. It is a species of Nymphalid butterfly.
A Horse Fly. This slideshow features multiple photos of the same subject I shared earlier. I kept shooting and trying my luck, hoping to capture that one really good shot.
Even our busy bees need a rest too. 😴😴😴🐝🐝🐝♥️♥️♥️
Another chasing moment with a cute bug, this time a Larger Elm Leaf Beetle. Its orange and iridescent greenish color combo makes it extra adorable. Chasing bugs require patience and you got to have a lot of it when you are a macro photographer 😉
Chasing an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail - Black Form in one sunny and windy afternoon of Summer 2025.
The Gray Hairstreak also called Bean Lycaenid. One of the most common butterflies in our gardens. It looks so pretty rubbing it's wings 😍🦋
Oh, what a wonderful feeling when your subject is so cooperative—not only landing on your finger but actually staying there. It’s as if this little bee was saying, “Here I am, go ahead and take my pictures!” 😁😊
Another old video from my gallery. A very cute jumping spider having quiet moments on my hand. What an adorable fluffy creature.
