Summer Youth Academy

The Lexington Police Department will be hosting a free five day youth summer Academy to introduce the many facets of the Law


Enforcement Explorer program and Public Safety.
Topics covered during the week will included:
First Aid/CPR
Team Building
Introduction to Law Enforcement
LPD history and programs
Fun and Games

Academy Dates Aug 17 - 21st
08:30 AM—1:30 PM

Space is limited to twenty participants. Ages 12 to 16
Time will be spent indoors and out.

Interested Candidates should pick up an application packet at the Police Station or Fill out and submit online.

Completed applications are due by Aug 10th

A parent orientation evening will be scheduled for Aug 13th
