With all the drama & intrigue at the federal level, I’m glad to be running for a local nonpartisan office. Thurston Public Utility District is nonpartisan & independent. That feels right to me. I have friends & family who are Democrat, others who are Republican & many more who are either sick of both or supporting something different. I think this country needs more courageous, principled and honest leadership for the people. Every political party & community of people have potential leaders that could serve their fellow citizen’s interests, make the tough calls and take the right path through difficult times. Unfortunately, the deck is stacked against them and against all of us. It’s time we confronted our problems and became serious about solutions. No more petty political games, we’ve got work to do!
