Foothills Writers

The Foothills Writers will not be meeting on Wednesday, April 8. Lord willing, we will resume our regular schedule April 14.

These are some pics of some of the Foothills Writers at the reception from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute's "Branches" reception last October. We are so proud of this group and want to pay special homage to our very own Tula Smith, winner of the poetry section, for "Visiting Aunt Myrtle."

The Foothills Writers are all preparing for the 2026 publication. If you ever want to join us, feel welcome and free to do so. We meet on Wednesdays at Gamewell History Museum, from 11:30-2:00.
