I think you’ll enjoy seeing what our Sewing Class has been up to lately. We’ve been using different variations and sizes of a pattern from Love Notions (sloth dress, earth tank top, and lemon tunic) and are so pleased with how they’re turning out! We’ve also made some reversible “bucket” hats (from Sweet Red Poppy) and a few more burrito pillowcases. Let me know if you’re ready to start sewing.

One of our Sewing students models her newly finished knit tank top. She learned how to use a serger while working with knits on this project. Super nice job!

Students have been working on some beginning quilt projects the last few weeks. One finished her first “9-patch” doll quilt and another has discovered the fun of “quilt as you go” with a 2-sided potholder. Super nice job ladies!!! No sewing this week as I’m helping with some projects at home but will be back to sewing on the 27th!
