I know it seems early, but time flies!

I’ll be heading to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh this year with Loop Creative earrings in hand. So, it's time to deepen my inventory.

To have a good selection of aircraft earrings with me, I've been working in my little "aircraft factory" this week. These little biplanes are just the tip of the iceberg!

Since I'm working in the shop, if you can't wait to see me at AirVenture, drop by my website and place an order: https://loopcreative.net/home. I can ship them to you. Or if you are at AirVenture too, I can hand-deliver and save you some postage. :-)

Once the resin-filled molds are complete, Lorrie applies her artistic talent in acrylic paint to create an interpretative design for each piece, adding the finishing touches.

To get the ball rolling on the creative process, Alyssa first develops 3D drawings, which are then fed into her 3D printer. She crafts molds with the master 3D for each aircraft design. Resin is poured into the molds to create the earring, pin, pendant or Christmas ornament.

The original 2008 balsa wood earrings.
These cherished earrings sparked countless conversations and admiration at aviation events over the years.

The inspiration for our aircraft jewelry came to Lorrie during her time as a volunteer coordinator at the 2008 Advanced World Aerobatic Championships in Pendleton, Oregon.
There, she received a pair of aircraft earrings from an elderly gentleman who hand-carved them from balsa wood.
