Hey guys! Pic for cuteness but this is Sam and I just wanted to ask everyone to please pray for David today and the days to come. He has started his third round of chemo and the side effects are rough.

Update from Sam 3-11-22

Update on Dave: Today is day 23 of chemo. Thats means that for last 23 days, 23 hours of it he has been hooked up to chemo pumping him full of arsenic. Dave has had to learn to stay alive in a way that he has never had to live before.

The doctor has put in for a bone marrow biopsy next Teusday or Wednesday. This is a really big deal. We wont get the results for 2-3 days but if they come back clean then they will start getting Dave ready to come home. After we come home we will go into phase 2 of treamtment. This means that Dave will have to do IV chemo Monday-Friday for 4 weeks and then get 4 weeks off. He will do that for atleast 8 months along with oral chemotherapy.

If the bone marrow comes back dirty we will be in for quite a long road. That would mean 30 days in the hospital again starting this proccess all over. It could also mean we would have to be transferred Barnes-Jewish for a bone marrow transplant.

PLEASE PRAY WITH US! Pray this scan comes back clean so Dave can come home. So we are one step closer to remisson. We appreciate you all.
