Tammy is a retired high school teacher with 25 years of dedicated service to education and our community and now a local business owner grooming dogs, recently won the UCI Gravel Worlds Qualifier race in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She didn't just win, but won by over 13 minutes. As the top US qualifier in her age group, she has been invited to compete in the prestigious UCI Gravel Worlds in Nannup, Australia this October. Despite facing a few setbacks along the way, including injuries and training challenges, her determination and grit has enabled her to push through and continue to work towards and achieve this remarkable milestone that she’s been so dedicated to and working so hard towards for several years. She will proudly represent the community of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and our great country on the global stage.
