SHEROIC Magazine Turns One!

We're celebrating a big milestone today: SHEROIC Magazine is officially one year old, and we're marking the occasion with a brand new issue.

This launch comes just weeks before another milestone close to our heart, Ribbon's 14th founding anniversary on August 4th. For fourteen years, Ribbon has worked to make sure quality, life-saving care is available to everyone, regardless of race, identity, age, or circumstance. SHEROIC grew out of that same mission: giving Black women a platform to be seen, heard, and celebrated on their own terms.

In this issue, you'll find:
An honest look at what it really costs Black women to carry everything, and what it means to finally set some of it down
Over thirty years of community health work, told through the people who lived it
Real conversations on sisterhood and health equity
Stories of leaders who walked away from what was working to build something new
A look inside a Congressional Roundtable where lived experience reached the halls of power

We're grateful to our community partners and to Gilead Sciences and ViiV Healthcare for their continued support of programming focused on health equity, access, and representation for Black women.
