Fine Arts Fiesta is HERE 🔥🎨
9 pieces. 3 grade levels. ALL talent.
My 6th–8th graders showed up and put in the work! I couldn’t be more proud. Take a look at what they created 👇
1️⃣ 6•7 Liberty – The Statue of Liberty… but made entirely of repeated “67” stamps. Look closer 👀 (7th Art 2)
2️⃣ Night Owl – First time printmaking using chine collé and already this strong?? Wow. (6th Art 1)
3️⃣ Sakura Protector – Pipe cleaners ONLY. No base. No shortcuts. Just skill and creativity. (8th Art 3)
4️⃣ Squirrel, Lion & Bear – A wild mashup inspired by alebrijes—our first time trying this lesson and it delivered. (7th Art 2)
5️⃣ Home Sweet Home – A full cactus scene, all handmade. The details?? Unreal. (6th Art 1)
6️⃣ Fish in the Pond – Back to back printmaking wins from the same student. she’s locked in 🔥 (6th Art 1)
7️⃣ Old Reliable – An abandoned tank with a story hidden in every corner. Look close. (7th Art 2)
8️⃣ Cerberus, Ant & Cat – Started unsure… ended iconic. Trusting the process paid off. (7th Art 2)
9️⃣ Wizard – Hand-sewn and full of magic. The craftsmanship speaks for itself. (7th Art 2)
You’re telling me this started as paper? 👀🎨 Grande Int’l. Study Center

Friends don’t let friends miss NAEA.
Even if that friend is stuck taking a master’s exam back home.
So yes… she still came along in spirit… and in popsicle stick form
NAEA Chicago was full of learning, inspiration, new ideas, and connecting with incredible art teachers.
We’re already excited for New York!
and this time she’s coming in person…not in popsicle.
