Help a senior if you can!

We have not been taking in pets in the past few years because we have too many seniors. However currently we can take seniors and puppies. We can also be a temporary home for animals that are displaced due to weather. We currently have an animal studies major working with us helping with the care of our animals.

Meet Lakisha she is a Chihuahua. She is a spayed female. She came to us terrified of all people and basically feral. She also has some skin allergies. Several years later we can now walk up to her and pick her up to hold but she is still scared and sometimes will try to run away,

She loves to be where I am. Her best buddy (Annabelle) is another white Chihuahua that belongs to my children. She is playful with several of our small dogs, but still hides if anyone other then those who love in my house come near. She also barks to alert me to anyone moving near her or myself or coming to the house.

She is precious and I love her. I had thought she would meet someone she would just bond with but other then myself that has not happened. So I will be happily keeping her with me.
