Made a Ramadan calendar using the flap of a cardboard box and metallic paper from old wedding invitations I had kept knowing that one day I could use the paper for a project! Drew a masjid on the cardboard, cut it out and had my son paint it black. Then cut out circles with a 1 inch hole punch and wrote the numbers with a sharpie. Cut out paper to make an "I'm grateful for" and "I pray for" box to fill in daily to teach my son about gratitude and prayer. Made the moons by cutting out circles with the 1 inch hole punch and using the hole punch again to cut out the crescent shape, then glued the moons to toothpicks that I painted black and just stuck the toothpick into the cardboard. I plan on laminating this so that we can cross out the numbers and fill in the boxes throughout the month insha'Allah.
