Good Morning! ๐โ
INTRODUCING our new roast from Honduras Don Abel Botijas! This bean is a two time national champion of Project Origin, a Good Food Award winner AND a Cup of Excellence finalist.
Don Abel Giron is a renowned coffee producer from Comayagua, Honduras. His farm, Finca Las Botijas benefits from rich volcanic soil, high elevations, and a unique microclimate which are IDEAL conditions for producing outstanding, specialty coffee! His leadership extends beyond competitions. He's a mentor to other producers in the region and promotes sustainable farming practices.
The flavors in this cup come together beautifully. There's a crisp, brightness to it yet feels creamy, full bodied and smooth.
We'll also be at the Carencro Farmer's market tomorrow, Saturday April 18th from 9AM-2PM. Come visit us for a drink or get yourself a bag of beans! We'll be pulling shots of these Honduras beans until we run out.
We can't wait for y'all to try ๐๐ป

Introducing our new bean...Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Wushwush!
Wush Wush is a village in the Keffa region of Ethiopia. It's an heirloom variety of coffee and named for that village.
This particular bean comes from producers in Yirgacheffe processed by renowned coffee veteran Israel Degafa.
Israel uses a proprietary anaerobic fermentation protocol he's dubbed "alcoholic" due to the crisp, winey cups it produces.
These beans produce an incredibly unique cup! The flavors expressed are strawberry, banana, blackberry, lemonade and sugar cane. Every cup we've had has been intensely fruity, smooth and creamy. We can't get enough!
Check out our page for market pop ups and try a cup for yourself :)
Message us if you're interested in ordering some of these beans!
