Went out this morning to catch the full moon setting and had great conditions. It's always my luck there will be a band of clouds only to the west, and along the mountain range haha.

Last night we had some clear skies again and headed back out. I had something else planned, but found out Trail Ridge Road in RMNP was closed miles before my shooting spot. So this was pretty last minute planning and think it came out pretty good. Looking forward to this weekend where Comet SWAN will be in the Milky Way Core.

Here we can see a high resolution image of the Milky Way Core, Lagoon Nebula, C/2025 R2 (SWAN) and B 85 (smaller nebula).

You may have seen lots of photos of Chimney Rock from Deb's Meadow, but in an effort to not repeat other shots found online, I found a different perspective to work with.
I came across this spot in my travels during the day and loved the view. After doing some planning I found the Winter Milky Way and Orion lined up, so here we have it! =)

Also giving this a try since Facebook doesn't seem to be getting me out there.. sorry for the spam notification
