There is a moment in recovery that many people describe in similar ways. It is the moment when the story shifts. When "this happened to me" becomes "this is what I am going to do about it."

That is the beginning of Radical Responsibility.

It is not about blame or shame. It is about ownership. In that pause between what happens and how you react, there is a choice. And choosing, again and again, is how a new life is built.

Chloe Wagner, one of our group facilitators, put it simply:
"Freedom, true freedom, begins with being responsible and truthful about my actions and my life."

If you are interested in applying this concept, we invite you to sit with three reflection prompts:

🌻 Where has the line between your feelings and your actions gotten blurry?

🌻 Have there been times you were wrong without realizing it until later? How did that affect you and the people around you?

🌻 Is there something you did well recently that you have not let yourself acknowledge? Radical Responsibility runs in both directions. Owning your mistakes and owning your growth are equally important.
