Intermezzo Pizza: Formerly Uno Venti is one of those places that reminds you that change can be such a good thing.

We ordered three pies: the Sea Salt Stracciatella, the Italian Beef, and the Chicken Bacon Artichoke.

The crust deserves its own paragraph. This is where the biggest improvement showed itself. The previous Uno Venti pizzas we had were enjoyable, but the crust lacked that satisfying crunch that makes each bite memorable. Now, charred in all the right places and airy without being floppy, it had a crispness that gave way to a chewy interior. It was sturdy enough to support the toppings without turning into a fork-and-knife situation. The kind of crust that makes you eat the end pieces instead of abandoning them on the plate like tiny bread graveyards.

Like most magical things, though, Intermezzo is temporary. Menus evolve. Chefs experiment. Seasons change. The pizza you fall in love with today might not look exactly the same six months from now, and honestly, that's part of the charm. Restaurants that care enough to grow are never static. They're living things. They adapt, they improve, they surprise you.

So this review is less of a declaration that "this is the best pizza you'll ever have" and more of a snapshot of a really good evening shared around a wooden table. Great food, good company, and the understanding that the best meals aren't permanent. They're moments.

And sometimes, if you're lucky, those moments come with a crust that redeems the sins of yore.

I went for a long walk and ended up at Jackson Plaza Farmers’ Market , where Bubbles & Bliss made the lemonade right in front of us. And let me tell you, a hot walk is basically flavor-maxing lemonade, because that thing was legendary.

32 oz of pure refreshment.

I highly recommend the strawberry lemonade. It did not survive long.
