Professional Employment Partners is seeking a reliable Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing team in LaPorte, IN.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with tools, and learning mechanical and electrical systems. You’ll assist with maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems.
Responsibilities:
•Assist with routine maintenance and repair of machines and equipment.
•Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
•Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and facility upkeep as needed.
•Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
•Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
•Document maintenance tasks and report issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED required.
•Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
•Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
•Strong attention to detail and dependability.
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
•Previous experience in maintenance or manufacturing.

Transportation is provided from Knox, IN.
•Assembling new furniture for schools and office buildings
•Disassembling and removing old furniture
•General moving and setup duties as needed
--Pay: $14–$15 per hour
Schedule:
•Work is expected to continue through August for individuals who are willing to work consistently each day.
Meeting Location & Time:
•6:15 AM CST - Meet to travel to job site
•Will meet in Knox, IN. and transportation is provided to job location
Overnight Travel:
Overnight stays may be required..
Candidates who can stay overnight will be provided with transportation and a hotel

Professional Employment Partners is accepting applications for a manufacturing company in Plymouth, IN.
•1st shift- 5:00am-3:00pm (EST) $16.50/hour
•2nd Shift- 1:00pm-11:00pm (EST) $17.50/hour
Essential Duties:
•Responsible for tying or assisting with tying material onto racks with wire or chain for safe movement through the galvanizing process.
•Use wire to tie material to bow racks, universal racks, or other tooling to prepare for the pickling tanks using specific training methods for the galvanizing process.
•Use rope to lift and prepare material for the pickling tanks using specific training methods for galvanizing process.
•Operates and visually inspects all equipment (i.e. forklifts, cranes, tooling, etc.) prior to usage to ensure no maintenance is needed.
•Learns to rack a variety of materials by assisting others.
•Racks, unracks or cleans material in order as directed.
•May learn to use a torch to dry materials before hot dipping.
•May clean material using a grinder, file, or brush as specified by the customer.
•Inspects material for sags, runs, drips, bare spots and reports it to management.
•Uses bolt cutters to remove wire from product and tooling and disposes of it per established procedures.
•Learns to inspect materials for holes, smothered spots, etc.
•Perform housekeeping activities to keep production area and equipment clean and organized.
•Confers with supervisors to report material conditions that could result in production or customer problems by form of damage or quality issues.
•May assist with training new production helpers as specified by management.
•Required to wear protective equipment, follow safety rules and all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
•Ability to work in an environment that consists of smoke, irritating particular impurities, chemical fumes and hot and cold temperatures.
•Ability to spend a majority of the time is spent standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and bending.
•Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Must have good eye hand coordination.
