1st cake of the year is always for my husband. Happy birthday Cedric!

This year I made an Apple pie cake. Vanilla spiced cake filled with fresh granny smitth apples sautéed with butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Finished with a double layer of cinnamon brown sugar buttercream. As always everything made from scratch! Now to focus on my Valentine's Day goodies!
