Italy's 'textile town' is leading the way to a responsible closet The Italian city of Prato has been a textile hub since the Middle Ages and has been recycling wool since the mid-nineteenth century - some 200 years. A tradition born out of necessity and poverty, fabric recycling may pave the way to more sustainable fashion.
