If you spend most of your day at a desk, in the car, or on the couch, your body stays in one position for hours at a time. When you finally stand up, your hips, glutes, and joints have to “wake up” again and that’s often where that stiff, achy feeling comes from.
The goal isn’t to avoid sitting altogether. It’s to move more often, strengthen what needs support, and keep your body moving through its full range of motion throughout the day.
