Congratulations to our Theatre Programs! It is truly an incredible opportunity that our students have to grow in creativity and collaboration through the stage. Texas Thespians, an affiliate of the Educational Theatre Association, named Katy ISD the Texas Thespians Troupe of the Month for January 2026. Each month, one troupe is selected for outstanding engagement, service and advocacy through theatre.

This honor reflects the strength of our theatre programs and the educational environment across Katy ISD, where students create, collaborate and lead with purpose.

KatyISD does many things well, but it is not enough when it comes to the future of our students
