Today marks the third anniversary of your transition to the streets of gold, my beloved Bryce. Though the ache of your absence never fades, today I refuse to be consumed by sorrow. Instead, I choose joy—because your light still shines here on earth in ways that only God could design.

Through your selfless gift of organ donation, you gave the miracle of life to families who were once holding on to hope by a thread. Because of you, hearts are still beating, lungs are still breathing, and dreams are still unfolding. You continue to touch lives, even from heaven, and I know that makes God smile.

I thank Him for the 21 extraordinary years He allowed me to call you my son. You brought purpose, laughter, and love into every room you entered. God doesn’t make mistakes—He knew your mission, and you fulfilled it with grace.

Though I can no longer hold you in my arms, I carry you in my spirit every day. And today, I celebrate you—not with tears, but with gratitude. You lived, you loved, and you gave life.
