Some people mistake gratitude for bragging, but when you’ve survived storms that were supposed to break you, it’s hard not to give God the glory.
I come from a family that didn’t always have much, but we learned how to make a little look like a lot. From a young age, I was taught never to settle for less than what God has for me, to work hard, keep my faith, and go be somebody.
So if I celebrate milestones, opportunities, growth, or blessings, understand it’s not because I think I’m better than anyone. It’s because I know where I started, what I’ve survived, and Who carried me through it all.
Cycle breakers often look different because they’re called to do different things. I’m just grateful God trusted me with the assignment. 🙏🏽
