How Juneau's elected officials can make or break plans for a fifth cruise ship dock Norwegian Cruise Line has several years of work to do before it can build what could be a fifth dock for big ships in downtown Juneau. City Manager Rorie Watt laid out which steps intersect with city government.

COVID-19 vaccine clinic sign-up for Juneau seniors (age 65 and up) and health care workers begins Monday, February 1, at 12 p.m. on juneau.org/vaccine. Read a step-by-step document that walks through how to make an appointment online here: bit.ly/SignUpHowTo. This will prepare you for what buttons to click, what the screen will look like, and what information you’ll be asked for. The clinic is on February 11-12.

The public is encouraged to sign up online if possible; individuals who don’t have internet can call 586-6000 to make an appointment starting February 1 at 12 p.m. About a hundred appointments have been set aside for call-ins.

Registering either online or over the phone will require you to provide an email address, and there are important things to keep in mind:

• 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆. For example, if you and your spouse share an email address and want to sign up for two appointments on the same day, do not use the same email address. Use of the same email address for a second appointment on the same day will cancel the first one. In this situation, CBJ recommends reaching out to a family member or friend who is not making an appointment for this clinic and ask to use theirs if possible. If you and your spouse share an email address and want to sign up for two appointments on two separate days, you can use the same email address and both appointments will be valid. The issue is using the same email address for more than one appointment in one day.
