Prepping to celebrate Farm To Fork Day tomorrow at Dreamwalker Farm in Grand Isle, VT. Come and grab your tallow based favorites and enjoy what many local vendors have to offer. We are just one stop on the Farm To Fork Fondo and expect to have over 150 cyclists pass through on their journey. We are Bound 2 B there, and hope you'll be too!

Made with our hand-rendered tallow and fresh cow's milk. It starts out with a dark outside and a lighter brown center... but give it a little time, and that pale center naturally turns into a rich, deep brown.
No dyes. No tricks. No "oops."
The vanilla (vanillin) in our phthalate-free, paraben-free fragrance blend naturally oxidizes as the bar cures, creating that beautiful color all on its own.
Sometimes Mother Nature does a better decorating job than we ever could. 🤎

So... what even is soap? 🫧
Most people never think twice about it. We just grab a bar and start washing.
But here's something that surprises a lot of people...
Many commercial "soap" bars aren't actually traditional soap at all. They're syndet bars—made with synthetic detergents. During manufacturing, the naturally produced glycerin is often removed and sold separately to be added to lotions and moisturizers.
So your skin loses a natural humectant... then you're encouraged to buy another product to put that moisture back.
Traditional handcrafted soap is different.
It starts with simple ingredients: oils (like our hand-rendered tallow), water or milk, and lye (sodium hydroxide). Through the incredible process of saponification, those ingredients transform into real soap, and the naturally occurring glycerin stays right in the bar.
No shortcuts. No unnecessary steps. Just traditionally real soap.
