I've been working on the doors. I've fixed "auto local login" capability and error logging and have made several minor code updates.. The doors are undergoing testing here at HQ and elsewhere. Once I get this done, I'll be releasing the doors as open source using the three-clause BSD license.

I have been working on Cheepware: the doors can now run in "auto-local mode" and I've fixed the multinode support as well as several minor code updates. I have split the documentation into four files which makes things -much- easier to update for me. Hopefully within as few weeks, I'll have everything ready and release door maintenance updates.

Would it be worth my time to invest in the infrastructure for me to produce 64-bit Windows-native doors? Is there a need for such a creature?

A quick update: I am moving my BBS to MBSE under FreeBSD. I have successfully compiled a door under FreeBSD using the Manndoor (from Rick Parrish/Manning) doorkit. I haven't tested it yet but am going to do so as soon as I can. I am planning on still creating DOS, OS/2, Win32, and Linux64 doors but in order for me to do so, I will need to have sysops who run a BBS under one or more of these operating systems to help me test them out. If you're interested, please let me know via netmail (preferred) or email. I am considering setting up a beta team private echo in Micronet for this effort also.
