🎉 Project Wrap-Up: 7 Cats Fixed! 🎉
With your generosity, we were able to TNR 7 community cats — 5 females and 2 males — through the amazing First Coast No More Homeless Pets program at only $25 per cat.
Thanks to $184 in donations, plus a small remaining balance that covered gas for all the drop-offs and pick-ups, we prevented countless litters and years of suffering with just a little time and effort.
We even caught our final three cats recently! (I was so excited to finally trap Polly — she was one of the hardest to catch since she’s an older kitty — that I forgot to take her post-TNR photo.)
Meet our TNR heroes:
🐾 Milkshake
🐾 Boba
🐾 Diddums
🐾 Marley
🐾 Micifu (“Me See Food” 😉)
🐾 Polly
🐾 Vittari
Because of you, hundreds of potential kittens will never face hunger or homelessness. This project shows how far even a small donation can go in changing lives. Thank you all for making it happen! 💛

🐾 FOUR SUCCESSES & COUNTING! 🐾
So far we’ve successfully TNR’d four cats — three females and one male.
Why is this huge?
• One female can have up to 150 kittens in her lifetime.
• One unneutered male can father hundreds more across multiple females.
By spaying/neutering these four cats, we’ve likely prevented hundreds of kittens from being born into hardship — and spared them from suffering, starvation, and overcrowded shelters.
And it only cost $100 total to do all four.
💙 $100 = hundreds of kittens prevented
💙 Years of suffering avoided
💙 Healthier, happier community cats
It just took a little effort to set the traps and get them to the clinic — but the result feels huge and whole. Thank you to everyone who’s helped make this possible. 🐱✨

Did you know? 🐾 While female cats often get the spotlight when talking about overpopulation, unneutered male cats play an equally BIG role.
👉 A single male can father dozens of kittens every year, roaming and mating with many females. Over a lifetime, this can add up to hundreds of kittens — fueling the cycle of overpopulation, disease spread, and unsafe community conditions.
By neutering males, we reduce:
✔️ Spraying & fighting
✔️ Roaming & injuries
✔️ Hundreds of unwanted litters
💙 Every neuter matters. Together, we can break the cycle!

🎉 Second Success! 🎉
We’re so excited to share that we trapped, neutered, and released another cat — this sweet girl was named Boba by one of our wonderful donors! 💕
Thanks to the amazing team at First Coast No More Homeless Pets, she received her spay surgery, vaccines, flea treatment, and ear tip — all for just $25.
Every cat we TNR helps reduce suffering, prevent overpopulation, and create a healthier, safer community for both people and animals. We’re grateful for the support that makes this possible and can’t wait to keep making a difference, one cat at a time. 🐾✨

🐾 How Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Helps Our Community 🐾
TNR doesn’t just help the cats—it also helps people and neighborhoods by improving community health and safety:
✔️ Reduces Disease Risk – Vaccinating cats during TNR (rabies + FVRCP) helps protect both animals and people. Fewer unvaccinated cats mean lower chances of disease spread.
✔️ Cuts Down on Nuisances – Fixed cats roam less, fight less, and don’t yowl or spray as much, leading to quieter, safer neighborhoods.
✔️ Controls Overpopulation – Fewer kittens born means less strain on animal shelters and fewer stray animals competing for food, which helps the whole community.
✔️ Protects Public Health – Fewer sick and injured cats on the streets means reduced exposure to parasites, fleas, and potential zoonotic risks.
✔️ Supports Humane Communities – TNR shows compassion while solving a real problem—improving life for both people and animals.
Every $25 makes a direct difference!
It covers surgery, vaccines, flea treatment, and ear-tipping for one cat—helping us create a healthier, safer, kinder community. 💙

🌱 Help Us Make an Impact in Jacksonville! 🐾
We’re starting a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) project to help lower the number of stray and outdoor cats in our community. We’ll be working with First Coast No More Homeless Pets, who are offering an incredible rate of just $25 per cat for spay/neuter and vaccinations. While that price is amazing, the cost adds up quickly—and we would deeply appreciate any support to help us reach our goal. 💙
Why is this so important?
• One outdoor female cat can have 50–150 kittens in her lifetime.
• If her kittens also reproduce, the numbers multiply like branches on a tree—one cat becomes many, and before long, the shelter system and our neighborhoods are overwhelmed. 🌳
• By fixing just one cat, we stop a heavy branch of that tree from multiplying, and we give shelter animals a better chance to find loving homes instead of being lost in the crowd of overpopulation.
Every dollar counts toward preventing suffering and making Jacksonville a healthier, safer place for both cats and people. 🐈🐾
