Period Action Day is almost here!!!
October 12th 2024
Here's what Project Spot is doing to take part in such an amazing day:
We have all been made aware of the devastating and catastrophic damages caused by Hurricane Helene. Many in our community are still without power and many people in other states and surrounding areas lost loved ones, lost homes, and are still faced with many challenges as a result of the Hurricane. During times like these it is crucial that pur communities come together and help one another in anyway we can.
For those in Conyers, GA Hurricane Helene was not the only thing to hit their community over the past weekend. While dealing with the impacts of the storm they were also issued a shelter in place and evacuation order due to a chemical plant fire.
It's time for action! Tomorrow Project Spot is sending out over 200 pads, tampons, and pantyliners, as well as hygiene packs to individuals still without power.
We can't stop there.... while dealing with the aftermath of something like this, period products and hygiene products should not be something to have to worry about. We will be hosting 3 more distributions this month, 1 in Georgia and 2 in Jacksonville.
From today until October 12th we are accepting donations of pads, tampons, pantyliners, travel size hygiene products and zipper pouches to give out during our upcoming distributions.
Donations can be mailed to 6999-2 Merrill Rd. #294 Jacksonville, FL 32277
Or
We can also arrange a location to pick up donations as well.

Sit down with a warm cup of tea and find relief from common menstrual symptoms at the bottom of your cup.
Here's 6 teas that can be very beneficial during your cycle. These teas are packed with nutrients, like iron and magnesium, as well antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and therapeutic properties. They offer relief from common symptoms you may experience during your period, such as nausea, abdominal pain, cramps, insomnia, anxiety, and overall discomfort. You can try one or a blend of multiple to help with different areas of discomfort.
These teas are not guaranteed to cure you from the different aches and pains we all go through during our cycles, but they have been tested and proven to offer a range of benefits and relief. Keep in mind that all our bodies, experiences, and pain are different, so the relief you may feel varies depending on what works for your body.
