He is shy, but warms up to you. Australian Shepherds are energetic, intelligent dogs bred to work and problem-solve. They need daily exercise, mental challenges, and consistent leadership to truly thrive. Many people fall in love with their looks but underestimate the commitment these breeds require. A fenced yard is required, though exceptions may be considered for exceptionally strong applications. Breed experience is a plus.
