Talk about a full-circle moment. ❤️

Growing up, my mom was a single parent who worked multiple jobs to provide for us. We didn’t have much, and there were years when times were tough. Organizations like the Detroit Goodfellows helped make sure kids like me weren’t forgotten. Every Christmas, I was blessed to receive a box filled with clothes, necessities, and toys. Those gifts meant more than I could ever explain.

As I got older, I had the opportunity to work with the Detroit Goodfellows, helping pack those same boxes for local children. For about six years, it became a tradition I looked forward to every holiday season.

Never in a million years did I imagine that one day I would own my own business and be creating beautiful event décor and balloon installations for the very organization that once helped my family.

This week, I had the honor of creating a setup for the Detroit Goodfellows’ Annual Members Meeting. Being in that room, surrounded by people who dedicate their time, energy, and hearts to serving our community, was incredibly meaningful. It was a reminder that strong communities are built by people who care enough to show up and make a difference.

From being a child who benefited from their generosity, to helping pack boxes for families in need, to now contributing through my business it truly feels like a full-circle moment.

Thank you, Detroit Goodfellows, for everything you do to support children and families in our community and for allowing me to be a small part of your mission. I am beyond grateful and honored. ❤️🎈
