At Creative Pathways Therapy, LLC, we are honored to share that our Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Reina Matychak, LMHC, has successfully completed the Redline Rescue Mental Health Training Program, designed specifically to better understand and support the unique mental health needs of first responders. 🦋

Recently, Reina also had the privilege of participating in a ride-along with Ocala Fire Rescue, gaining valuable firsthand insight into the challenges, sacrifices, and resilience demonstrated by our firefighters and emergency responders every day.

We are especially glad to see our county and community leaders taking action to recognize the importance of mental health and support the well-being of our first responders. These efforts help reduce stigma, encourage early intervention, and ensure that those who serve others have access to the support they deserve.

This experience strengthens our commitment to providing trauma-informed, culturally competent mental health services for first responders, veterans, and their families.

We previously mentioned the upcoming PTSD Awareness Walk, and this morning, the Marion County Board of County Commissioners took the awareness initiative a step further by proclaiming June 27th as PTSD Awareness Day. As committee members, we were honored to stand alongside the dedicated men and women leading this important cause.
