Who wants to go on some mushroom foraging tours with an experienced guide?

The banana spider, also known as the golden silk orb-weaver (Nephila clavipes) are not venomous. Their venom is not strong enough to seriously harm a healthy adult, but it could hospitalize an infant, pet, or person with allergies or other health problems. Banana spider bites are rare and usually occur through accidental contact. They are not likely to bite unless they have no other way to defend themselves.
