Pepe was found as a stray with a touch of skunk, earning him the name Pepe. He was not reclaimed from the shelter. He is a friendly and easy going boy, who is acclimating well to all the new changes he has recently experienced. He had many mats on him when he arrived, which resulted in a huge mat having to be shaved from his back He's been groomed and smells and looks much better. He walks well on a leash and enjoys treats. We estimate he is 4-5 years old. We think he/s was most likely an outside dog,, but not knowing his history, he will be rehomed as a companion dog. We recommend obedience training for all newly adopted pyrs, to help you create a special bond with you and your new friend, and so you have a well behaved canine. Great Pyrenees are willing to learn, but are not as eager to comply with commands as much as other breeds. They are bred to be independent thinkers. Sirus is just the sweetest boy. He is very laid back and gentle. He was surrendered due to a divorce, 2 years ago on Christmas Eve. He loves going for walks and does fine with other dogs and cats. He is a blocky boy, but not tall. Sirus is about 6 years old. If you'd like to give him his furever home- apply at Igpr.org
