I have chosen not what
I imagined ever steering away
Terror and torture lead the way
Cycle of pain and depressed
Leading me back down
Once again I fall into
Abyss so wild and open
Not a savor in site
Around we go once below
The surface smothers and strangles
Wondering peace happiness
Does it exist I thought I had it
Where did it go
Struggling to find
What I lost withing time
Slipping thru the very fingers
That gripped salvation so tight
I try and try with all my might
Save me or leave me alone
In the darkness around
I'm tired of fighting for
A world that will never exist
