Q1 ended today.

Not with a bang. For a lot of small businesses, with a quiet, uncomfortable question: what actually happened in there?

My co-founder Jay wrote something this morning that I think is worth your time. Not a motivational post. Not a "10 ways to crush Q2" list. Just an honest forensic look at what your pipeline tells you about the quarter you just had.

The short version: the revenue number is an outcome. It tells you what happened. It does not tell you why. And if you skip the why, you just run the same system again for another 90 days and wonder why the results look familiar.

Jay walks through four pipeline questions worth sitting with tonight. How many leads got followed up with at least twice? How many deals stalled in the same stage for more than three weeks? How many prospects went quiet with no re-engagement? How many deals from January 1 did you never touch again?

If those numbers are uncomfortable, that is useful. It means you know where to start.
