I just finished working on an older system. The capacitor which was installed by another company only 1 year ago went out and was preventing the system from kicking on. I always recommend installing a turbo capacitor. They do cost quite a bit more than a standard capacitor however they are built better and come with a 5 year warranty out of the box. Maybe I’m just lucky but I haven’t seen one fail in 10 years
