We are looking for full time summer help! This would be a position for a high school or college student who would love to work outdoors and help build fence this summer! 👀

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark fence lines according to project specifications
- Aid in preparing posts to be driven into the ground
- Prepare posts for wire installation
- Help stretch various types of wire across fence lines and/or install rails on wood fencing
- Retrieve different materials and tools as needed
- Operate power tools safely and effectively

Qualifications:
- Physical stamina and capability for heavy lifting (70lb +)
- Ability to follow verbal directions
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to work in varying outdoor conditions
- Able to communicate effectively (must have reliable phone)
- Must have reliable transportation

Salary, Hours, and Location:
- $13-18/hour depending on skill
- Start time is approximately 7:00am each weekday. Weekends as needed/if available.
- Because this is an outdoor job, we work around the weather. Hours vary by day and week due to variances in weather conditions.
- Location varies by jobsite. We generally work in Huntington and surrounding counties but do travel as needed.

It's never been about fence. It's always been about this.

This past week we had the opportunity to join a few other fence companies and suppliers and come together to support a fellow fencer during a time of burden no one should bear alone.

Logan Williams (LMW Fencing) and ourselves joined together to assist Ryan Miller (Premier Fencing LLC) in building 1,800 feet of no climb fence for a chicken operation.

We received material donations from Bontrager Feed Service, Pine Creek Chainlink, and Bull Barn Fence Factory. (Thank you, Ken, for driving out wire all the way from PA!) Heath Lash (Down The Rail Fence Company LLC) drove all over northern Indiana to pick up other materials and deliver them to the job site.

As Ryan has said best, "Don't forget to look for God in your day, and tell someone about him!" We sure saw God this week.

This customer wasn’t 100% sure what animals will end up living in this pasture, so we decided on 4x4” woven wire with HotCote on top, making it versatile for a variety of livestock.

Add the mesh gates and strength of the rance bracings, and this pasture is animal ready!
