Celebration of Motherhood - Mother’s Day

To those who gave birth this year to their first child - we celebrate with you.

To those who lost a child this year – we mourn with you.

To those who are in the trenches with little ones every day and wear the badge of food stains –
we appreciate you.

To those who experienced loss this year through miscarriage, failed adoptions, or running
away - we mourn with you.

To those who walk the hard path of infertility, fraught with pokes, prods, tears, and
disappointment – we walk with you.

To those who are foster moms, mentor moms, and spiritual moms – we need you.

To those who have warm and close relationships with your children – we celebrate with you.

To those who have disappointment, heartache, and distance with your children – we sit with
you.

To those who lost their mothers this year – we grieve with you.

To those who experienced abuse at the hands of your own mother – we acknowledge your
experience.

To those who lived through driving tests, medical tests, and the overall testing of motherhood – we are better for having you in our midst.

And to those who are pregnant with new life, both expected and surprising – we anticipate with you.

This Mother’s Day, we walk with you. Mothering is not for the faint of heart and we have real
warriors in our midst. We remember you.

Hey Anchor, Rachel here. 🙋🏼‍♀️ The past couple of weeks, I’ve tried to have conversations each day with my kiddos about God.

“Why is it raining so much?”
“Why do we have hair on our legs?”
“Why do we people die?”

In some moments, I’ve been able to talk about God’s creation. In other moments, we’ve talked about how we don’t always understand God’s plans of why people die. Regardless of the topics, I’ve been able to remind myself and kids of God’s love and how through everything, even in times of happiness or difficult times, everything happens for the glory of God.

Andrew Peterson - Is He Worthy? 04/10/2026

Hey Anchor! Rachel here 🙋🏼‍♀️ . This past weekend we sang “Is He Worthy?” which has become one of my favorite songs.

It is a great reminder that when the world feels broken & dark, we have Jesus who overcame sin, satin, and death. Jesus, who is the second part of the Holy Trinity, our great rescuer, and worthy of our praise.

I pray this song can bring you comfort and light.
