Leaf spot fungus is running like crazy in lawns here in Texas! It’s important not to just hire the next guy and make sure to let your company treat it the correct way! A lot of people will try and tell you what you want to hear and will make it worse! I passed by a lawn we used to do and I them warned of this. They viewed it as a money grab for applying fungicides. Now they are losing their acreage of Bermuda with their new company and I see it everyday!

The goal in this is to make lawns look better. Often we do apps that don’t make money to further benefit the lawn. Not everyone is out to get your money and burn you. It’s sad that we see this more these days! Have a good Sunday and watch out for the diseases!

We recently acquired some new lawns in Blue Hills in Van Alstyne. Clients reached out a few other companies had been treating them or lack their off. Their soil tissue samples came back the same with these 4 fungus’. It’s going to be an expense to get these back in tip top shape. 9/10 times when it comes to Bermuda grass the big companies have no idea what they are doing and these could have been reduced if not eliminated with proper car and lack of high nitrogen fertilizer.
