Izzy- Electrician

Izzy is currently a senior in high school, participating in a work program through her HVAC classes at the career center. With a strong passion for the trades, she’s already gaining hands-on experience in the field and has her sights set on becoming an electrician after graduation. Izzy is putting in the work now and growing her skills with NexGen every day.

When she’s not in school or on the job, Izzy stays busy fostering animals, riding horses, watching movies, and enjoying rides in her Razor. She credits her parents as her biggest supporters and is excited to continue learning and building her future in the trade industry.

At NexGen, it’s important to us to invest in the future of our community, and Izzy is a great example of why. Her positive attitude and strong work ethic make her a valuable part of the team, and we’re proud to have the opportunity to work alongside someone so driven as she continues to grow in this field and build her future.

Austin Patrick- Lead Electrician

Austin is Kevin’s son, an East Knox graduate, and a proud father of three young boys. With 3 years of hands-on experience—and a lifetime of learning from his dad—Austin brings strong work ethic and dedication to the NexGen team.

When he’s not working, Austin enjoys staying active—whether that’s skateboarding, walking the bike paths, or spending time in the garage working on his car. He also loves being outdoors and making the most of his downtime with his family. Most weekends, you’ll find him at the ball fields, supporting and cheering on his boys.

Having the next generation working alongside family has always been an important part of this company, and Austin truly represents that vision. We’re incredibly grateful for his leadership, the pride he takes in his work, and the consistency he shows every day. His commitment to providing for his family while helping build something meaningful for the future doesn’t go unnoticed—it’s a big part of what makes NexGen what it is.

Kevin Patrick- owner of NexGen Electrical Services, LLC

Kevin brings over 40 years of hands-on experience and a lifetime of strong values to the NexGen team. A proud Marine Corps veteran, Kevin served four years after graduating from Johnstown High School, carrying that same dedication and work ethic into everything he does today.

Family is at the heart of Kevin’s story. He’s been married for 33 years, has two children, and is a proud grandfather to six—soon to be seven! After moving to Apple Valley in 2002, Kevin and his family quickly became deeply rooted in the community. From leading Cub Scouts with his son to coaching his daughter’s softball team, participating in 4-H clubs, and supporting local events, Kevin has always believed in showing up and giving back.

Professionally, Kevin has done it all in the electrical field, building a reputation for reliability, skill, and integrity. On his days off, you’ll find him enjoying life on the lake with his pontoon boat, exploring the countryside in his Side by Side with his wife, or spending quality weekends surrounded by family.

Kevin founded NexGen with a vision that goes beyond business—he’s building something meaningful to pass down through generations. His commitment to family, community, and quality work is the foundation of everything NexGen stands for.
