HOUSTON, TX (October 13, 2017) -- Riding to honor and support Veterans and First Responders and support community-rebuilding for Houston after Hurricane Harvey, hundreds of cyclists from throughout the Houston area will participate in the 2017 Optum Honor Ride Houston on Saturday, November 4 at 8:00 am.
The Optum Honor Ride Houston is an inspiring, popular cycling event that will start and finish at the Columbus Hall at 703 Columbus Rd. in Wallis and offers cyclists of all levels the opportunity to ride 12, 23, 42, and 63 mile bike-friendly routes alongside America’s Healing Heroes while raising funds to help Veterans and First Responders suffering from PTSD. After the ride, riders and supporters are invited to enjoy a festival-like atmosphere including a delicious bar-b-que chicken lunch and music.
